Nordic & Baltic Young Artist Award 2026
The Nordic & Baltic Young Artist Award is one of the largest regional contemporary art competitions, introducing recent graduates from leading art academies across the Nordic and Baltic countries and offering an overview of emerging artistic practices and developments in the region.

Participating Academies
The 2026 competition brings together graduates from the following leading Nordic and Baltic art academies:
• Estonian Academy of Arts
• Pallas University of Applied Sciences
• Art Academy of Latvia
• Vilnius Academy of Arts
• Uniarts Helsinki
• Turku University of Applied Sciences
• Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design
• Umeå Academy of Fine Arts
The competition is organised in collaboration with the participating academies, and all artists are presented through NOBA, the largest curated contemporary art information and sales environment in the Nordic-Baltic region.
How to Participate
Graduates from participating academies are invited to submit their graduation project (up to three artworks) together with supporting materials via the online Award Submission form:

Timeline
June–October 2026 – Ongoing publication and promotion of participating artists and artworks through NOBA channels
November 2026 – International jury evaluation
December 2026 – Announcement of the award winners
