Emilija Višinskaitė

Artist is based in: Lithuania

Emilija Višinskaitė is a Lithuanian artist based in Vilnius. She holds a BA in Scenography and an MA in Contemporary Sculpture from the Vilnius Academy of Arts. During her studies, she completed an internship at the Athens School of Fine Arts (ASFA), further expanding her artistic practice.

Višinskaitė’s work explores the surrounding environment, the influence of industrial materials, and ideas of syntheticity. Working with found materials, she allows their inherent properties and embedded meanings to shape the creative process, revealing new relationships between material, space, and perception.

Alongside her individual practice, Višinskaitė actively participates in and initiates collaborative exhibitions. Her work has been presented at Meno Parkas Gallery, Kaunas Artists’ House, the Klaipėda Culture Communication Centre, and other exhibition venues in Lithuania.
