Evelina Lindqvist Hedlund is a Swedish artist whose practice moves between visual art, performance, and collaborative modes of working. Her work explores relationships between images, bodies, and narratives, often combining visual, spatial, and performative elements. She is particularly interested in alternative forms of expression, poetic languages, and collective experiences.
Lindqvist Hedlund graduated from the Bachelor’s Programme in Fine Arts at the Umeå Academy of Fine Arts in 2026. Her work has been presented in several notable group exhibitions in Sweden, including Trevande Tolkar at Havremagasinet, Boden (2025–2026), Svidande ögon bländande ljus and Allt sjunger s/om fantomer at Gallery Verkligheten, Umeå (2025, 2026), and Bothnia Salong 2024 at Västerbotten Museum, Umeå.
Selected solo exhibitions include Magisk akt at The Shopwindow, Umeå Academy of Fine Arts (2026), and Dialog i hemligt språk, produced in collaboration with Hemliga Skolan Production at Labbet, Umeå (2025).
Lindqvist Hedlund is also a member of the performance group Stormkök, founded together with Lulu Staaf and Lovisa Fahlgren. The group has presented works including Stormkök presents: Symfonisk Storm at The Gallery, Umeå Academy of Fine Arts (2026), UÄÄÄH! Performancefestival at the Royal Institute of Art, Stockholm (2024), and Reverbing Ontologies – on Margins at Väst på fjället, Bjurholm (2024).
Her monotype print I gräset låg (2024) is included in the collection of the Västerbotten Museum.
