Matilde Solgaard Utsen

Matilde Solgaard Utsen is a Danish printmaker whose practice centres on woodcut and xylography. She studied Graphic Art at the Belarusian State Academy of Arts from 2015 to 2021 before continuing her education at the Vilnius Academy of Arts, where she graduated in 2026.


Utsen has exhibited internationally in Denmark, Lithuania, Belarus, Bulgaria, Switzerland, Russia, Austria, and Greece. In 2025, she participated in the 13th Ulsan International Woodcut Print Art Festival in Ulsan, South Korea. Working primarily with traditional woodcut techniques, her practice reflects a sustained engagement with the expressive and material possibilities of printmaking.
