The hitchhiker of the wild west, 2025

This painting of a hitchhiker and a cowboy is based on a cowboy toy I found in Berlin during a school trip in the beginning of the masters program. I found it in a craft shop on the way home from a bar that for some reason was open very very late. When I got home from the trip I placed it where I could see it. For a while it just stood on a shelf in my studio until I found the hitchhiker. The hitchhiker came as a gift (already naked) from a friend, in a box filled with small objects. I then decided to put them together . Then I arranged the still life using the cowboy, the hitchhiker, a stone, clay and some fabric.

The title is a description of what I imagine is happening in the painting.
