Martin Jurik (1998) is a sculptor based in Stockholm and Bratislava. His work explores the dissonance between public and private memory, speculative future building and specific narrative structures.

Using variety of media Jurik creates series of objects that are later worked into installation scenarios. The objects (or rather their representational quality) tend to relate with hierarchies of bodies, symbols and personal narratives – revealing the “crossection” lying in the middle.
