Melting patterns archive, 2025

100 x 400 cm

Prints, printing plates

This work functions as prints installation, workbench, and archive. It preserves the melting traces of snow and ice on metal and paper, capturing a state of being that no longer exists. Objects are composed as fragmentary maps – at times separated, at times interconnected – creating a cyclical narrative. Some of them contain geographical data marking snow collection locations, also referencing the snow samples preserved in my personal collection. This archival practice not only enables the preservation of snow and ice, but also reveals the multifaceted nature of the objects being studied. This artwork was showcased in group exhibition “Memorika” in 2026.

Good to know:

– Framing: The artwork is generally sold unframed unless stated otherwise in the artwork description.
