Pavilion, 2026
210 x 230 x 230 cm
Dried plants, string, handmade paper
The pavilion hangs from the ceiling in cotton threads, holding loops of flowers and straw, twisted like threads, which create a room possible for visitors to enter. Inside is an instruction, “if we are seeds, what nourishes us? Write or draw and hang it up”. Using flowers that would otherwise be discarded, hanging up what is usually below us, changing perspectives. The Pavilion is a chance to pause from what can be a hectic and stressful existence, and instead reflect and create a room together with what is important to us.
