Nuutti Maikola

Artist is based in: Finland

Nuutti Maikola is a Finnish artist working with sculpture, painting, and installation. His practice explores materiality and the attitudes, systems, and purposes through which matter is shaped, categorized, and used.


Maikola graduated from the Fine Arts department of HEO Folk High School in 2022 and is completing his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at Turku University of Applied Sciences in 2026. In 2025, he completed Erasmus studies at the University of Arts Linz in the department of Sculptural Conceptions and Ceramics.


He has held solo exhibitions at B-galleria in Turku (2024) and K17 – Space for Art and Ecology in Sipoo (2026). In addition, he has participated in numerous group exhibitions across Finland, Austria, and Serbia. In 2025, he took part in a residency at Jalovik Art Colony. His works are included in several private collections as well as in the collection of Jalovik Art Colony.
