Elisa Sakko (b. 1994) focuses on a gentle and concentrated exploration of various materials, sounds and spaces. Their work explores communication, experiences of connection and separation, and movement between different materialities. Sakko works with sculpture, music and multi-sensory installations that can be experienced through touch, sound, smell and sight, enabling visitors to engage with the materials in their own way. Sakko’s work has been exhibited in several solo and group shows across Finland, including Kunsthalle Turku and Galleria Huuto, Helsinki. In addition to Finland their collaborative works with musicians and dancers have been performed in London, UK and Haparanda, Sweden.
