Gustė Kripaitė is a Lithuanian interdisciplinary artist currently living and working in Vilnius. Her practice revolves around memory and the questions of its reliability, material exteriorization and possible reworking, drawing inspiration from personal experiences and different cognitive frameworks. She creates time-based and site-specific sculptures or installations using various media, such as food-based materials, particularly jelly and dough, experimental analogue photography, printed paper and sound. She holds an MA (2026) and BA (2024) in Sculpture from the Vilnius Academy of Arts. Recent exhibitions include Graduation Show at the Vilnius Academy of Arts (Vilnius, 2026), „Between Doors“ at VDA Telšių Galerija (Telšiai, 2026), duo exhibition with Jokūbas Vaicekauskas „Memory Stick“ at the Martynas Mažvydas National Library of Lithuania Exhibition Hall (Vilnius, 2026), KUNO Biennial „Venture Collective“ (Trondheim, 2025), „Freeze“ at Meno Parkas Gallery (Kaunas, 2025). Her Master‘s thesis has been awarded in Dr. Ieva Pleikienė competition for the Best Master’s Research Paper in the Vilnius Academy of Arts.
