Veronika Synenka is a Ukrainian artist based in Vilnius whose practice explores displacement, migration, and nomadism through painting. After relocating from Kyiv to Vilnius in 2022, these experiences became central to her artistic research, informing works that examine movement, belonging, and identity. In 2026, she graduated with a BA in Painting from the Vilnius Academy of Arts, presenting her graduation project Museum of Nomad, and continued her studies in the academy’s MA programme in Painting.
In June 2026, Synenka presented Museum of Nomad as a solo exhibition at The Rooster Gallery in Vilnius. Earlier that year, she participated in the duo exhibition From the Same Soil at Contour Art Gallery together with Ukrainian artist Sofija Horbachevska, exploring two artistic practices shaped by the same war under different geographical conditions. She also conceived and curated Septyni, an exhibition marking the 150th anniversary of Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis, bringing together Ukrainian artists responding to the composer’s musical legacy, while participating in the exhibition as an artist herself.
In 2026, Synenka was a finalist for the Zabolis Art Prize, presenting her work 72 kg. Alongside her artistic practice, she has developed curatorial experience through organising and curating solo and group exhibitions in both Lithuania and Ukraine.
