Isabelle Nilsson is a Swedish artist whose practice explores contemporary forms of visual expression and their relationship to materiality, space, and the viewer. In 2026, she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Umeå Academy of Fine Arts, having previously studied at the preparatory fine arts programme at Östra Grevie Folk High School.


Her solo exhibitions include Att böjas till form at Galleriet Konsthögskolan, Umeå (2025), High Voltage at Cowgirl Gallery, Malmö (2022), and Lust och fägring stor at FRANK Art Gallery, Malmö (2019). She has also participated in group exhibitions at institutions and galleries including Havremagasinet in Boden, Galleri Verkligheten in Umeå, Molekyl Gallery in Malmö, Skissernas Museum in Lund, and Falsterbo Konsthall.


Alongside her artistic practice, Nilsson has worked as a museum host and art mediator at Bildmuseet, as well as a gallery assistant and art mediator at Cowgirl Gallery. She has also taught drawing and painting to children and young people through Aktiv Ungdom in Malmö. During the summer of 2026, she is undertaking an internship at Bildband, an art bookshop and publishing platform in Berlin.
