Sandra Puusepp (b. 1997) is a contemporary artist whose work deals with the meaning of identity and the role of the individual in society. She uses the pressure and contact of the graphic printing process to reflect adapting to complex environments. During the work process, the artist takes the tools that are used as autonomous equals and likens materials and their behavior with human behaviour. Puusepp graduated from the Department of Graphic Arts at the Estonian Academy of Arts (BA, 2026), studied Computer Science at the University of Tartu (BSc, 2019), and did exchange studies for printmaking at the Brno University of Technology in Czech Republic (2024). The artist has participated in several group exhibitions at ARS Project Space, EKA Gallery and GÜ Gallery. They are a member of the Estonian Young Contemporary Art Union and art collective Kvadraat, with which they have received the Newcomer of the Year 2025 award, curated exhibitions and participated in conferences.
