Vėjūnė Leškytė (b. 2003) is a Lithuanian visual artist based in Vilnius whose practice explores physical, social, and geopolitical environments through graphic art, printmaking, artist’s books, installation, objects, and video. Although working across multiple media, printmaking remains central to her artistic practice. By juxtaposing political and socially marginal themes with traditional printmaking techniques, she transforms the printing process into a form of artistic research.

Leškytė frequently expands printmaking beyond the printed image, incorporating sound, movement, and moving image into her works. Depending on the concept, she works with a range of techniques, including silkscreen, intaglio, lithography, and photopolymer etching. In 2026, she graduated with a BA in Graphic Art from the Vilnius Academy of Arts.

Since 2023, her work has been presented in numerous group exhibitions, including at the Vilnius Graphic Art Centre’s Kairė–dešinė Gallery, Gallery 5 malūnai, Gallery Namukas, and the Vilnius Book Fair (Litexpo). Alongside her artistic practice, Leškytė is actively involved in the cultural field through volunteering and collaborative initiatives. She contributed to the organisation of the Vilnius Academy of Arts’ art fair supporting Ukraine, volunteered at the 6pt Book Design Conference in 2024, and participated in international collaborative projects at the University of the Arts Helsinki, Hasselt University in Belgium, and the Nida Art Colony.

In 2025, she was selected for the Salzburg Summer Academy programme Patterns in Printmaking: From Surface to Form, led by Hannah Tilson and Otis Blease, and received the Graphic Artist Romas Viesulas Scholarship. In autumn 2026, she will undertake an internship at Art Print Residence in Barcelona, where she will assist resident artists while further developing her printmaking practice.
