TAKE PART IN THE NORDIC & BALTIC YOUNG ARTIST AWARD 2025
The Nordic & Baltic Young Artist Award supports emerging artists at the very start of their professional journeys. Its goal is to give young talent greater visibility among international curators, collectors, and the wider art public, while offering art professionals and enthusiasts a curated view of the most promising graduates in the region.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE?
Submit your graduation work (up to 3 artworks) and additional information through the online form “AWARD SUBMISSION” on https://noba.ac/en/award-submission/
If your project requires additional images, upload the main image and send the others separately to info@noba.ac.
The competition gathers the best BA and MA graduation works from the following art academies:
• Estonian Academy of Arts
• Pallas University of Applied Sciences
• Art Academy of Latvia
• Vilnius Academy of Arts
• Uniarts Helsinki (Finland)
• Turku University of Applied Sciences (Finland)
• Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design (Sweden)
• Umeå Academy of Fine Arts (Sweden)
All works will be presented on the largest curated contemporary art platform in the region: NOBA.ac/award. The award also helps promote graduation shows and bring international attention to graduating artists at a pivotal moment in their careers.

AWARDS
These awards aim to provide both recognition and practical support for emerging artists as they begin their professional journey.
Selected nominees will have the chance to participate in curated group exhibitions across the region. The winner of the competition’s Grand Prix is selected by the international jury and is targeted to selected graduates from each academy. The winner is awarded a monetary prize of 2000 €, additionally the jury will hand out the Painters Prize Award with a monetary prize of 1000 €.
The Public Choice awards is a category of Nordic & Baltic Young Artist Award competition which is open to all the graduates of art academies participating. Everyone participating in the Open call has the opportunity to be awarded with the Public Choice Monetary prize 500 €, which is handed out based on the public voting on NOBA art platform.
Unlike most open calls, this award is exclusively open to BA and MA graduates — and only at the time of graduation— making it a true once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
