The young partisan’s precarious dream, 2026

oil on linen

With my artwork, I have been contemplating the following themes, phenomena and processes, and their relationship to each other: fascism, layers, repetition, composing, manhood and masculinity (in my dreams and in our time and space), the non-trendiness and violence of masculinity, individuality, and the crisis of desire and pleasure. The work is part of the BFA exhibition 2026 in Academy of Fine Arts Helsinki.
