Eeri Halminen ^{Emerging artist}

Halminen’s practice is based on painting, continuing into moving image and installation. Halminen’s work merges individuality, community, culture, spirituality, nature, and digitality. In their work, they compose the absurdity of today in relation to the stable and universal. Currently, Halminen is working with themes around masculinity, fascism, psychoanalysis and combining these very broad perspectives in concepts of pleasure and art practice itself.

During the last year (2025), Halminen has been working as an artist and project manager in a long-term production for Oulu 2026 – European Capital of Culture. Halminen has been temporarily studying at the Academy of Fine Art Prague in 2025.
