Third Future Talent 2018 competition has come to an end. Competition gives the chance for the audience to see the works of young artists and give their opinion.

Online voting gained 853 voters which decided this year’s winners. First place winner is Annabel Janke with her work “Fall of the Apple”.

Second place went to Dagne Aaremäe with her work “Inner Beauty”. Third place was split between three artists: Rebeka Vaino’s “Deliciousxxx”, Margus Kontus with her work “Obsession” and Karola Lotta Kiisel with her work “…in Käsmu”.

Winners were awarded with the prizes by Tallinn Music Week, cafe NOP, Veg Machine and cafe-restaurant ANNO.

“This year’s online voting turned out to be very popular, which may be due to the students’ technical choices. The competition is a good opportunity to introduce young authors to a wider circle, and because the prices of students’ works are more suitable for the buyer, some of this year’s contestants have already found new owners, “says Andra Orn, one of the leaders of the NOAR platform.

The competition is organized by the art platform NOAR.eu and the Estonian Academy of Arts in collaboration with the Tallinn Music Week’s Art and Taste Program. The contest presents the talented young artists of EKA and their current activities. The goal is to bring the audience closer to the art world, providing an opportunity to explore the fresh winds in the colorful landscape of contemporary art.
