The rocky shore pricked the soles of my feet. I took cautious steps on the stones, and when a wave struck unexpectedly with force, I decided to jump against it. My shin hit something sharp. The salty water stung. I felt a torn piece of skin. The water was warm and I swam for a little while longer.
