“My artistic studies relate to the following topics – narrative, story telling, legends and their connection to everyday life. In a combination of real and fictional, photo collages and sketches with the imaginative and unclear characters that stem from fictional stories I research my own experience and a human’s connection with story telling both from memories as well as from daily life of today. Aesthetically I use black and white colour scheme, silver/gold, transparency and one contrasting colour as a passion and feeling medium. As a sketching medium photos are the most used ones together with charcoal sketching and videos. The end result very often can be transformed from 2d to 3d and vice versa. Exhibitions: – 2021, October – Art gallery PILOT, Riga, LV – textile art work “The Walker”, photo collage; group exhibition “Memory”, EU4Art Alliance project collaborating fine arts curriculum – 2020, November – Art gallery PILOT, Riga, LV – digital video work “No”, created in collaboration with Kristīne Upīte; group exhibition “Hard Drive of Lost Expressions” curated by Mark Hulson, London Central Saint Martins College of Arts – 2019, November – Art Gallery “Arka”, LT – „Blown up”, The 11th International Biennial of Textile Miniatures – 2019, March – gallery Dubultu stacija, Jūrmala, LV, „X1”, group exhibition „Student Diaries III.
