NOBA Nordic Baltic contemporary art platform

This year, the Turku University of Applied Sciences degree exhibition NYTT 2026 took over various venues across Turku's old town. The exhibition showcases works by 27 graduating artists, standing out with their diverse techniques and a vibrant choice of materials.

The degree projects explore and seek answers to questions surrounding materiality, identity, power structures, impermanence, memory, and social processes.

Some artists focused on slow, repetition-based working methods and found or recycled materials, giving them an entirely new form and meaning. Other artists blurred the line between reality and fiction, creating alternative worlds and distorted narratives.
