NOBA Nordic Baltic contemporary art platform

We continue our annual coverage of graduation exhibitions across the Nordic and Baltic region with a photo gallery from TASE ’26, the Estonian Academy of Arts’ annual graduation festival.

Bringing together bachelor’s and master’s graduation projects from the faculties of Fine Arts, Design, Architecture, and Art and Culture, TASE offers a comprehensive overview of the ideas, materials, and artistic approaches shaping the next generation of artists and designers in Estonia. This year’s festival returned to the EKA campus, transforming the academy’s buildings, studios, and exhibition spaces into a public showcase of contemporary artistic practice.

This gallery focuses primarily on the Faculty of Fine Arts exhibitions presented at the Estonian Academy of Arts main building (Põhja pst 7) and Kotzebue 10. Featuring more than 280 photographs by Joosep Kivimäe, it documents the exhibition through installation views, individual artworks, and exhibition spaces, offering an extensive visual overview of this year’s graduating artists.

Each year, NOBA documents graduation exhibitions at leading art academies across the Nordic and Baltic countries, creating a growing archive of emerging artistic practices and offering audiences an opportunity to discover the region’s newest generation of contemporary artists.
