RiverCity Gallery wants to spread art to a wide audience. Our focus is primarily contemporary visual art (painting, graphics, photography) but also sculpture and glass art. The artists we work with have artistic experience behind them with solo exhibitions as well as collective exhibitions.
The gallery wants to use art as a means to create exciting meetings and conversations. It can be meetings between only works of art and viewers, art in the workplace, conversations between colleagues or with customers. Art evokes feelings and reactions and is a creative force. Art is an asset that has a positive impact on, among other things, well-being.
RiverCity Gallery also wants to contribute to strengthening the range of art and culture in the emerging River City (RiverCity) in Gothenburg. With art, we want to contribute to making the city more coherent. The river is the base and bridges are built over it, physically, culturally and socially. "One river - two sides - one city"
To spread the art, we work with both individual and group exhibitions where the art is for sale. We organize various events in the spirit of art. We also have a close collaboration with Älvstadens Konstförening, which is a general art association open to everyone.
