The artist´s comment on the artwork: “This work is about loneliness and the feeling of being helpless. It’s also about a broken heart, when you wait someone to come back even though they are not going to. In this work I was also thinking how the borders of the figure and surroundings are melting together. There is this feeling of abjection and abuse.”
The artwork is part of the author´s MFA graduation project at the University of Arts, Helsinki.
