Karl-Erik Talvet Emerging artist

Artist's country of origin: Estonia

Karl-Erik Talvet (born in 1991 in Paris) currently lives and works in Tallinn. He received his MA Degree in painting from the Estonian Academy of Arts, in 2018, and he has also studied abroad at the Brera Art Academy in Milan (2016/1017).

Talvet took part in military operations in the Republic of Mali in 2019, where he served as a translator, and has later used this experience in his following works and exhibitions.

Talvet works mostly on painting and comics and has taken part of numerous exhibitions. He is a member of the Estonian Painters’ Association and Estonian Comics Association.
