In the mixed-media installation “Set”, the celebration table becomes a place where new memories are formed and existing ones are rewritten. The work is based on a personal observation of the richly set table as an expression of love and care inherited through generations, which has gradually become the artist’s own language of love. The figures of family and friends depicted in the photographs are transformed through the cyanotype process into imprints of light, whose fragmented and imperfect nature resonates with the workings of memory.
