An isometric graphic shows the Ruins of the Viljandi Order Castle – a unique ensemble of landscape and history and the city’s most important landmark – together with the winning entry of the 2023 architectural competition “Viljandi Castle Hills Visitor Environment”, designed by 3+1 Architects, with Guriev as one of the authors. On the black-and-white terrain, a new route is highlighted in blue derived from the colour of Viljandi’s flag, linking the hills with a series of bridges and ending at a viewing platform on the roof of Villu Cellar, overlooking Lake Viljandi.
