Organised pornography, 2015
72 x 102 cm
€1200
Used materials: acrylic, canvas.
This painting was inspired by a week long military service in the forest, where Talvet had to sketch a lot of landscape schemes, fire cards and battle plans. With this painting he wanted to mess up the current rules for accuracy and discipline. It is supposed to make the heads of military service feel like there is no logic or order in that landscape scheme. Therefore the service-like title “Organised pornography”.
The painting was exposed in the exhibition “PIND” at the Contemporary Art Museum of Estonia in November 2015.
