The artist´s comment on the artwork: “The idea for Blood oath in the garden came from seeing a close bond between two unknown women at Flow festival 2018, Helsinki. They were not performing blood vows but simply eating together in a gentle manner. There are not many ways for friends to committ to each other in a ritual manner even though friendships often outlast romantic relationships in length. I myself have made a blood vow with a beloved friend – in a garden. All my works carry hints of personal memories.”
