Tõnis Jürgens ^{Emerging artist}

Tõnis Jürgens (1989) is an artist, writer, and cinema projectionist who works primarily with time-based media and installation. His video works intertwine essayistic approaches, poetic fragmentation, and the reuse of archival materials, often extended through scenographic spatial installations. Jürgens is currently a doctoral candidate at the Estonian Academy of Arts. In 2026 he will spend half a year in residence at WIELS, Brussels. He is a member of the Estonian Union of Photography Artists and the Estonian Artists’ Association.
