The painting “Silence” is a unique work created during the early years of my studies using an experimental, original technique. It remains the only piece I have produced using this method. The work is characterised by its expressive, multilayered texture and combines a wide range of materials, including oil paint, gouache, gold leaf, shellac varnish, as well as several custom-made materials and compounds.
This work is part of my mission to establish the first laboratory for custom facial prostheses (epitheses) in the Baltic States. Beginning in 2025, I worked on Estonia’s first magnet-retained ear prosthesis for a child with Grade III microtia-a project that was successfully completed in May 2026. But this is only the beginning. I continue to help children with congenital craniofacial anomalies. All proceeds from the sale of my artworks are dedicated to establishing the laboratory and providing facial prosthetic rehabilitation for people in need.
