Chairs, lamps, cabinet, fabric and wood from the chairs
The work reflects my feelings based on the memories of the people I loved in the past, for instance my grandparents, my lovers, my friends, etc. Even though I’ve experienced the passing of my grandparents, a break-up from my lover, lost friendships, every time I look back at my memories, it always gives me strength to move on, it’s part of my growth.
In the idea of disassembling the physical structure of the chairs to reassemble the parts into a frame, it shows the process of externalising my internal emotional feelings into a physical and tangible household object.
