The hugigator is a fun, ambiguous visual of a crocodile and a human in each other’s embrace. The hug takes place underwater and both parties have smiles on their faces. The moment is not at all scary, as common sense would suggest. Each of us is sometimes like a monster or a crocodile, perhaps a small reference to the fairy tale “Beauty and the Beast”. The image carries lightness and joy. Made with linocut technique and the size with the frame is 45 x 33 cm, framed in a black woodframe.
