In the painting “Girl with a Ball” I depict a girl swimming in the lake in close-up. In the painting I try to convey the rippling of the water, the reflections of the bright summer light in the synthetic water. The work investigates that borderline state when reality is doubted, and more precisely, when not only the veracity of the moment, but also its very uncertainty is questioned.
