Artist’s book: digital press, wooden box with holes
For me, the box and the experiences I’ve had are a symbol of captivity, because I can’t erase the images and emotions I’ve seen from my memory. I put the created book in a box, I put my thoughts and experienced negative emotions, which I don’t want to experience again, which I don’t want to “take out” again. Therefore, I allow the viewer to look at the book, at my experienced feelings, only through the holes of the box. The book cannot be taken out, or touched, but only observed from different angles.
