On the bend, the man paddles with a paddle, butt towards the viewer. On the dinner table, the man seems to be an island in the middle of the sea, hence the name “Every man is an island”. The work was on display at the 2017 International Nude Exhibition “Man, Woman and the Sea” at the Pärnu Museum of New Art.
