Eda (75) describes photography as an highly unpleasant activity for her, much like being in the spotlight. When she sees a camera, she usually runs away or hides behind someone. She remembers photography from her childhood as a major event, precisely because it was so rare. Significant preparations were made – they dressed nicely, the women put on makeup, and everything was arranged nicely. She doesn’t believe that aging makes anyone more beautiful. After her husband’s death, his best friend, the dog Donna, provides her with companionship.
