The starting point for my paintings were uneasy feelings: those of excessive self-consciousness in a world of ready-made fantasies. I thought about being looked at. I contemplated the distortedness of your inner world in relation to the outer world, and how the gap between the two will always be there. The paintings were exhibited in the BFA Exhibition of the Academy of Fine Arts of Uniarts Helsinki in 2022.
