Paavo Käämbre (born 1984) is a painter based in Tallinn, Estonia. He has graduated from Tartu Art College, majoring in painting and murals (2010) and from Tartu University with a MA in painting (2012). Käämbre has been working in Eesti Päevaleht as a designer since 2012. He has had solo exhibitions in Draakoni gallery in Tallinn („Jäänud“, 2014) and Pärnu City Gallery („Sõnad on tuhk mu suus“, 2013), Tartu Science Park („Tähtvere“, 2012) and Aatrium Gallery in Tallinn („Mustamäe“, 2012). Käämbre has also participated in numerous group exhibitions, for example “”Noor Eesti Kunst” Estnische Kunst zu Gast in Fürtsnewalde” in Germany (2015) and Young Painter Prize finalist exhibition in Contemporary Art Centre, Vilnius (2013). Käämbre’s main body of work is abstract expressionistic.
