Lola Liivat graduated from the Tartu Art Institute with a degree in painting in 1954. Liivat is a member of the Estonian Artists’ Association since 1960. She has been making abstract art consistently since 1957. Liivat has held over a hundred exhibitions in Estonia and abroad.
