Artist's country of origin: Estonia

Hando Tamm (born 1980 in Tartu, Estonia) graduated from the painting department of the University of Tartu in 2004. His first group exhibition was in 1999, his first solo exhibition was held in 2000 in Tartu, Sebra Gallery. During his studies he began his activity as a performance artist (both in groups and as a solo artist). Hando Tamm has also been working at Tartu Children’s Art School, where he has been an art teacher and organizer of different events and workshops. Recently he has been involved with Tartu Art College, as a lecturer of performance art and painting. He is the member of Tartu Artists’ Union since 2013. As a painter, he has had 12 solo exhibitions, having also  taken part in several group exhibitions in Estonia and abroad.
