Epp Margna

Artist's country of origin: Estonia

Painter Epp Margna was born in 1965 in Tartu, Estonia. She graduated from Tartu Art School with a degree in painting and design art in 1984. After completing her education, she worked at the Art Association ARS and later also worked as an art teacher, bust mostly she has been active as a freelance artist and graphic designer. Since 1994 she has participated in numerous art exhibitions and she is member of the Tartu Artists’ Union since 2021. Her art is characterized by an ethno-futuristic style and by a strong connection to South-Estonian folk myths/legends and folklore.
