Helle Lõhmus

Artist's country of origin: Estonia

Helle Lõhmus (b. 1962) is a painter living and working in Tartu, who also works in drawing, graphics and sculpture. She graduated from the University of Tartu majoring in painting (BA, 2015) and majoring in art and technology teaching (MA, 2022). She is a member of the Estonian Artists’ Union, Estonian Painters’ Union and NAS.

Her works have been exhibited in group exhibitions both in Estonia and abroad, and she has had several solo exhibitions.

She has been awarded Second Prize – the 10TH LESSEDRA INTERNATIONAL PAINTING & MIXED MEDIA COMPETITION, Sofia, Bulgaria 2018-2019.

Her works can be found in Skopje, The Osten Museum of Drawing and Bulgaria, in the collections of The Lessedra Art Gallery and in private collections in Estonia, Finland, Sweden, Belgium and the USA.
