Agate Lielpetere ^{Emerging artist}

Agate Lielpētere has been studying art since she was a kid. Graduated printmaking department of Janis Rozentals Riga Art Highschool and now she is about to graduate the same department in the Art Academy of Latvia. Both with excellence. Even though she is a printmaker, her true passion lies within illustration. She has participated in several group exhibitions in Latvia and abroad. She also has had one solo show and she is preparing for the next one this summer. She has been working as a freelance illustrator since 2016, making illustrations for various magazines (such as So Young Magazine, Satori, KUSH! Comics and others), “KIM?” Contemporary Art Center and creating zines and comics of her own.
