"In 2022, visiting Madrid, London, Cambridge, Paris, Vienna, Rome, Florence, Hamburg, Bremen, etc. museums and art centers, I created a generalized picture of cultural tourism. The scenography of the museum spaces, the states of the visitors, the iconography of the works and the interactions of the viewers' poses in this cycle highlight rarely seen, self-sufficient aspects of the existence of the museum spaces, which are no longer noticeable through haste and consumerist optics. In the modern consumer and traveling society, new features of museum spaces, visitor habits, and exhibition of works are emerging. Mass audiences transfer hedonistic habits to museum spaces, and art centers and museums prepare spectacular exhibition displays adapted for mass consumption.

This change is important in the Museion cycle, which aims to artistically convey the relevant aspects of cultural tourism and consumption. The drama of the interaction between the museum space, the audience and the works comes into focus. Elements of pop culture appear in the medium of high culture, the aura of masterpieces is replaced by fetishes of mass culture, museum contemplation is displaced by tourist boredom and selfies . Therefore, in the cycle Museion , images of provincial museums, mass attractions and prestigious exhibitions are juxtaposed incongruously, searching for unexpected interactions between entertainment spectacles and contemporary art exhibits. “
