Paulius Šliaupa (born 1990) completed his BA studies in painting in Vilnius Academy of Arts in 2013 and MA studies in the same field in the Rome university of Fine Arts in 2017-2018; he is currently also finishing his MA studies in the field of sculpture.

Šliaupa´s main interests revolve around tactility, the materiality of the subject. He tries to achieve this using different media: oil, encaustics, video art. In his works, the key importance is always given to the light and the forces of nature.
