Evija Freidenfelde is a Latvian artist working in painting and printmaking. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Arts from Art Academy of Latvia, Graphic Art Department and currently studying of a Master’s Degree. Previous master’s degrees received in biology and legal sciences. Freidenfelde’s works have been exhibited in group shows in Europe. 6 solo exhibitions have been held in Latvia, the last one in 2020. Since 2010 she regulat participate in group exhibitions and international biennials in Latvia. Her illustrations have been published in magazines in Latvia. She is the winner of the prize in the gallery BIART of the competitions ” World of Colors”2022, special prize in the gallery “Art Pegaz” of the competition “Taste of Life” 2020, the winner of the 1st place of the Tilde art project 2011 ARS ex MACHINA. Reproductions of the works are included in the catalogs: Latvian Landscape Painting of the competition of J. Pigoznis, international biennial Marina.
