Zinc,
I measured the capacity of my palm with alginate. I cast a mold into which I poured molten zinc. A lump of zinc becomes a mountain or a dune; a small landscape. It is about the process of transformation and letting go; when something no longer fits. Then a new shape, a new way of being comes; a new possibility. It was exhibited in a group exhibition “Pebbles By The Sea”, Klaipeda, Lithuania, 2025.
