Empty beer can, acrylic paint and human hair. A companion piece to the previous work. Here the title isn’t a reworking of a saying but an application of an existing one. “hair of the dog” is the poison taken to cure the effects of the poison one took the night before. The drink to cure the hangover. Perhaps a response to what happened after the beer was held in the narrative of this piece’s sibling.
